FAQ

**The following contains a list of questions that are asked the most. If you have a question feel free to read through here to see if your question is listed. If you don't find it, feel free to ask. We try to be as detailed as possible to avoid misunderstandings later!**

♦Q: DO YOU TAKE CUSTOM ORDERS OR DESIGN CHANGE REQUESTS?
A: Unfortunately we are no longer accepting custom orders or changes to our items. We apologize for any inconvenience, but our workload can no longer accommodate these requests. Please look for new themes arriving each month!

♦Q: DO YOU MAKE PROOFS PRIOR TO PURCHASE?
A: No, we do not. Proofs are only sent after you purchase. This is a courtesy to our current purchased orders because we like to keep turn around times to a minimum. Adding in additional proofs for items that may or may not be purchased will slow our times down & raise our prices.

♦Q: WHAT ARE YOUR DEFAULT SIZES FOR INVITES AND DECOR?
A: Invites can be made in 4x6 or 5x7, unless otherwise stated (ie: 4x8). Decor items are formatted to print on a standard 8.5x11 sheet, unless otherwise mentioned in the included instructions. If you prefer, I can add two 5x7 or three 4x6 invites onto 1 letter size (8.5x11) sheet for better use of your paper...please request this at the time of purchase or the single file will be sent alone. Remember, the invitation size that you choose at check out will be used on the letter size file.

♦Q: HOW MANY INVITATIONS WILL I GET?
A: Our invitations are sold as digital/printable files. This means that you will be able to print the amount that you need. If you don't want to print the invitations yourself, take a look at our printing upgrades that you can purchase in addition to the invitation design listing. https://www.etsy.com/shop/BeeAndDaisy?section_id=10345702

♦Q: HOW MANY OF EACH ITEM IS INCLUDED IN YOUR DECORATION SETS?
A: Our decorations are sold as digital/printable files. This means that you will be able to print the amount of each item that you need. You will receive one file for each item listed, but the quantity on that file will depend on the item. Print as many or as few of that item as you will need for your party!

♦Q: HOW AND WHERE DO I SEND MY INFO TO YOU?
A: You can send it to my email address or in an etsy convo message. You will find the email address within the invoice message after purchase. Just scroll down on your order to find this message.
Emailed orders are completed faster than those sent etsy messages. This is because only customers can email me. Etsy messages will contain lots of questions from potential clients that I must get through as well. I only read etsy message once a day, but email is always open.

* Q: HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY INVITATION OR PERSONALIZED DECOR?
A: We will email your order to you from the email address listed in your purchased order invoice. Please be sure that you add this email address to your contacts so that your provider does not flag us as spam or block the email.

♦Q: HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY DECORATION ORDER?
A: Simply follow the instructions that we mention in the listing that you purchased or listed above in the shipping section. Please allow about 5 minutes after purchase for the order to process. They will be ready for you to download, unzip, and print after purchase...no need to wait!

♦Q: WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE LISTING?
A: You get everything that is mentioned in the listing. I give a detailed description for each item, so please be sure to read it in full. My listings may not show everything included, but you do receive them! The samples are there to show the patterns & clips. Remember that these are digital files, and nothing will be shipped.

♦Q: WHAT DO I NEED TO ASSEMBLE THE DECORATIONS?
A: Simple craft items & the ability to cut, paste, and use a hole punch! It's really that simple! I give you detailed instructions with your purchase. Basic items needed are scissors, paper/cardstock/photo paper to print on or a printing service, glue or paste. Other items that customers may choose to use are: hole punch, 2" craft punch, ribbon, toothpicks or similar. It's up to you, depending on which items you choose to use. It's easy to do...even my 6 year old has helped with the items before!

♦Q: CAN I RESELL THE ITEMS OR CLIP ART?
A: NO!!! My designs are protected by copyright laws so please do not think you can purchase & make a few bucks off of my hard work. If you are interested in selling digital items, please purchase your own design software and spend the time creating one of a kind items...don't copy other's work. This includes licensed characters...this is also against the law!!

♦Q: DO YOU SELL COMMERCIAL LICENSE?
A: No, sorry! No one is allowed to profit from my desings in anyway.

♦Q: I AM A PROFESSIONAL PARTY PLANNER. CAN I USE MY ITEMS AT AN EVENT THAT I AM PLANNING?
A: Only if you or your customer purchases the items for you to use at that event ONLY! You may not use my items at multiple parties or profit from my designs in anyway. Please remember to credit & link back to Bee and Daisy if you post photos to any website, blog, social media, or any other public viewing.

♦Q. WHAT IS THE COPYRIGHT INFO ON YOUR VINTAGE ITEMS?
A. I only use public domain images for my vintage collection! These are copyright free when I receive them. However, after I restore and change them, the new image is now copyrighted to me. The old image is still public domain, but once I have altered it, the altered image that I use cannot be resold or copied.

♦Q. SHOULD I GO BY THE DESCRIPTION OR THE PHOTO?
A. Please go by what is stated in the description, not shown in the photos. While most listings will show the listed items, there are some listings with photos sent in by customers showing their party. The customer added in many other items that are not included or items that were upgraded at an additional cost. Only go by what its stated within the listing & if you have a question on an item, please ask.

♦Q. WHAT RESOLUTION ARE YOUR ITEMS?
A. I create the items at 300ppi. Please send a photo that will be able to have the ability to be lowered instead of enlarged. I am not responsible for low quality photos that are sent in. Poor quality or low resolution photos will not print properly. For invitations try to send in a photo that is at least 2000 pixels wide.

♦Q. WHAT FORMAT ARE YOUR ITEMS SENT IN?
A. Invitations come standard as jpg, but you can request a pdf if needed. Decorations are only available as jpg files at the current time. We may switch to pdf in the future, but they are not available at the current time. No format choice is given for our decorations collections, no exception.

♦Q. CAN I USE A PROFESSIONAL PHOTO FOR MY INVITATION?
A. Yes, but only if you have written permission to use that photo. I am not responsible for customers that use copyrighted material without permission. Submitting the photo is your agreement that you do have permission to use it or are the photographer.

♦Q. CAN I PRINT AT A PROFESSIONAL PRINT SHOP?
A. Yes, you can print at any printer of your choice. However, I am not responsible for printing or the finished product. I design the items at a high resolution so they will print clearly and correctly if our instructions are followed. Please be aware that you will need to save the items to your personal computer and then upload them to the printer's website or bring them in on a disc/drive. You may not save the items on any public computer.

♦Q. IS THE COLOR ON THE SCREEN THE COLOR THAT WILL PRINT?
A. Monitor and printer settings do vary so the color that you are seeing on the screen may not be the color that prints out. We are not responsible for these settings.

♦Q. CAN I PRINT AT FULL BLEED OR WITH A SAFE AREA?
A. Our items are NOT designed to be printed with a safe area. If you choose to print this way, we are not responsible for the outcome. If you know before that you are going to be printing with a company that requires full bleed or a safe area, please let me know & I can design it with this in mind for an additional $5.

♦Q. I DIDN'T NOTICE AN ERROR UNTIL AFTER I PRINTING. CAN I GET A REFUND OR WILL YOU PAY FOR MY REPRINTING?
A. No. It was your job to proof carefully. Even if it was our error, you are required to let us know if any errors have been made. While we are sure you are honest, some customers may want their item or printing for free so ALL sales are final.

♦Q. IT HAS BEEN 2 DAYS SINCE I SENT MY MESSAGE. DID YOU GET IT?
A. I work in the order that they come in, so please be patient. There are times when I cannot respond until your order is being filled. I am not ignoring you…I just haven’t worked my way to your message yet! This goes for questions as well. We often get 50-100 emails & questions in a day. I am not able to answer them all & complete orders each and every day. Sending messages multiple times will only slow your response time because this sends you back to the end and I work in order that the message was received...oldest message first.

♦Q. CAN YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU RECEIVED MY MESSAGE, ORDER, OR EMAIL?
A. Many times we cannot due to our high order or message volume. We often do not see your info until we are completing your order. If you see your etsy message & your order in your account, then we have it. Please allow us the chance to get to it. Asking us where your order is before the stated time is up will only cause you to be frustrated & your order slowed while we answer your messages. For the same reason, we do ask that you have the correct info when you send it to me. We may not see a message with updated requests/info until after we complete your order.

♦Q. CAN I POST PHOTOS OF YOUR ITEMS ONLINE?
A. Sure, but please give credit where credit is due. If you post photos to a website, blog, social media site, etc be sure that you credit Bee and Daisy for the design & link back to our etsy shop. Please do not claim the work as your own!!

♦Q. CAN I BUY THE CLIP ART OR PATTERNS TO USE ON MY OWN?
A. I do not sell Bee and Daisy clip art or patterned papers alone. Invitations and Decor are sent completed and as flat, non-editable files unless clearly stated within a listing. This is to avoid reselling of our items or use for multiple parties. Commercial license is not given in any form. Our clips and patterns may not be extracted in part or whole. Items may only be used as we designed them.

♦Q. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO UNZIP THE ITEMS?
A. This is simply extracting or removing the individual files from a large file containing all of the compressed items. We zip (or compress) the items because they are designed at a large size and we included so many items in our collections that the original size of these items is larger that upload limits. In order to allow you to download them faster and to stay within upload limits, we have zipped the files. Unzipping is simple, fast, and with our suggested software and software trials…free! Have a detailed question? Just ask!
